I thought I bought a "high end", pillow top Dr Breus mattress thru Sleepys approx 3 years ago. The sale, delivery all one would expect from the self proclaimed mattress professionals. Very good. But what I bought was complete junk! And for that reason the company is out of business. BUT…. Fear not, Sleepy's issued the warranty!?!?!

ISSUE:

This mattress completely caved in the center. One must sleep in the dead center in a ditch. Two people is impossible without sleeping on each other… horrible!!!

THE CATCH:

The self proclaimed mattress professionals have recently implemented a new inspection method. I very clever one. They send you a self measuring package that includes little string with weights on either end. Weight equivalent of nickel each. This piece of cardboard "THE FEATHER" With this they ask that place the cardboard on the mattress and the string across the entire bed. Now should the feather drop a few inches into this pillow top mattress they will entertain a warranty. ***they also request this from 4 different locations/angles and 8 other photos including the support, silk label, law tag, foundation… and it goes on. My photos all added up but the one. The one where the feather is dropped into the pillow top mattress. THE IMPOSSIBLE PHOTO!

THE CONCLUSION:

What does this do? Well it saves them a ton of MONEY!! They do not need to send people to your house, they don't have to take back the faulty mattresses and there are NO EXCEPTIONS! I weigh 200lbs and have a pillow top mattress. You think this feather is going to sink 2-3inches in the mattress?!?!? NO!! But i do. CLEVER way to essentially VOID a WARRANTY!

Take your business elsewhere.

The most disappointing in user's experience was terrible customer service. The author asks this business to immediately contact him/ her to briefly discuss his/ her negative experience with the company.

We were told that if there was a problem with the mattress you would honor your warrantee. we have been customers of sleepy's over the years and have bought mattresses for many residences.

This Mattress Marshall self inspection is absurd. We consider that you have voided the warrantee as our contract is with you.

We will never deal with Sleepy's again and share our experience with all consumer sites. case number is 01465443.
